Meet Our Staff

Our staff is caring, experienced, and fully trained to give children the optimal learning opportunities. We want to form a strong partnership with families to ensure the best possible experience for your child. Our teachers provide daily communication and seek to understand the needs of each child in our center.

Director

Ms. Sophia has worked in childcare for 15 years, with 7 years experience in adult care. She loves to spoil her "babies" that she has the privilege to care for. She prides herself on being a hard worker. Due to her strong Christian faith and willingness to try anything, Sophia is a fabulous teacher. She tries to make learning fun by keeping her students' minds open and engaged as much as possible as well as teach them to know and love God. Sophia is married to her wonderful husband Calvin and they have 1 son, Dylan, who attends Northwestern with plans to attend medical school in the near future. Sophia's main goals are for her students to feel successful and to love learning.

Office Administrator

Ms. Kelly has been with Kinder Kollege since 2012 and in childcare for 13 years. She received her Child Development Associate in 2019 and serves as our Office Administrator for Kinder Kollege, Kinder Kamp (school-age), and Mother’s Day Out (part-time care at Kinder Kamp). She looks forward to a continued partnership with every family.

Owner

With 15+ years of experience in the child care field, Tara’s love for children only grows stronger each day. She is responsible for the planning and programming, staffing, parental concerns and overall supervision of children enrolled. Knowing firsthand the parental concerns of each parent, being a parent herself, she strives to fulfill the wishes and goals each parent has for their child. Being a woman of great faith in God, she strives to share Christ with the children of Kinder Kollege. Her goal is to maintain a Christian environment built on faith and biblical teachings.
